Green Freight India is a collaborative initiative of various private sector companies to increase transparency in their supply chains and reduce carbon emissions from logistics operations. The initiative is supported by an agency of the German government, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Clean Air Asia and the Asian research partnership GreenTransformation Lab, a research collaboration between DHL and Singapore Management University.
